Tempest Rising by Pale Majesty

I used to draw dragons all the time. I miss drawing them sometimes, they hold a special place in my heart - I am Welsh, after all.

These dragons are what I've affectionately come to call 'Tempest Dragons'. They rise at the beginning of a storm, catching the thermals, their black, slick bodies twisting and turning, creating the winds that thrash the land and seas in a storm.

I may do more with these in the future.

Liko'rial by Pale Majesty

This was a commission from a guy on a RPG of his character Liko'rial. Liko'rial is supposed to be a Griffin in knight's armor and the commissioner wanted him to be depicted standing atop a rampart with a burning village off in the distance. {If I had my way, I would have drawn the burning village in further and made the character look like he was the last remaining survivor of the carnage, or the one who caused the desctriction. But I had to follow the commissioner's wishes }

This image was created using Photoshop CS and a Nisis tablet. No reference was used except for a small photo of an eagle head I found in a magazine. This painting was a bit rushed and sloppy because I had to get the image to the commissioner and I was recovering from having braces installed, ow.

Medium: Photoshop CS2 and my Nisis Tablet
Tags: Fire warrior anthro Eagle knight destruction burning proud burnt Powerful Majestic Magnificent
