This was a commission from a guy on a RPG of his character Liko'rial. Liko'rial is supposed to be a Griffin in knight's armor and the commissioner wanted him to be depicted standing atop a rampart with a burning village off in the distance. {If I had my way, I would have drawn the burning village in further and made the character look like he was the last remaining survivor of the carnage, or the one who caused the desctriction. But I had to follow the commissioner's wishes }

This image was created using Photoshop CS and a Nisis tablet. No reference was used except for a small photo of an eagle head I found in a magazine. This painting was a bit rushed and sloppy because I had to get the image to the commissioner and I was recovering from having braces installed, ow.
